PTA leaders outline spring activities, assemblies and fundraisers

A PTA representative told the board that PTAs across the district are scheduling a range of activities this winter and spring, from Fayette's spelling bee and PARP reading events to Old Mill Road's family assembly with Paralympian Blake Leeper. "Our PTAs continue to be awesome," the speaker said.
The representative also noted SEPTA's successful STEM night and listed several fundraisers and events: readathons, a Long Island Children's Museum auction (March 6), bingo and sports nights, and a Camp Avenue auction in April at Mulcahy's in Wantagh. These were presented as community-organized events requiring no board action at this meeting.
