School board approves $202,825 year-end budget amendment for operations and maintenance

School CFO/staff requested board approval of a FY25–26 year-end operational budget amendment moving $202,825 from instruction to operations and maintenance. Administration said the Board of Supervisors had already authorized the transfer at their July 13 meeting and the school board was completing its internal approval.
"We are seeking your approval this evening of a budget amendment from the FY '26 ... in the amount of $202,825 in year end operational funds from instruction to operation and maintenance," administration said. The motion was made, seconded, and approved unanimously.
Board members thanked staff for coordinating with the Board of Supervisors to secure the transfer and noted the funds supported maintenance work completed over the summer.
