Board moves graduation to May 23 in 2026–27 calendar to avoid schedule conflicts

Dr. White recommended changing the high school graduation date in the 2026–27 calendar to May 23 after noting recent conflicts with regional track meets that previously forced students to miss graduation or events. He said families contacted the district and feedback supported the change.
A motion to approve the calendar changes for 2026–27 was moved and seconded; the board approved the change by voice vote. The recommendation also updated the middle/high school registration information night to Feb. 10.
