Williams Bay board approves up to $15,000 contract for veterans display wall

The Williams Bay School District board authorized contracting for a veterans display wall project at a cost not to exceed $15,000. Superintendent Dr. White said the garage door area has been sealed up and the site would benefit from a veterans wall; the district gathered three bids and he recommended choosing the vendor that completed the elementary history wall.
“I'm recommending we go with Araya,” Dr. White said when introducing the recommendation; the transcript includes an alternate rendering of the vendor name later in the meeting as “array of presentation.” The board moved and approved contracting with the vendor to design and install the display and to work with the district committee on design details. The committee for the veterans display includes Deb Suplanda, Glenn Boss, Pat Burns, Ron Grabsky, Nathan Bond and Pete Kale. The motion passed by voice vote.
