Scott also said Russell Olson from Heartland Energy described a program that would rebate a portion of increased electricity costs for a new addition over three years (50% the first year, 30% second, 20% third), and the district will pursue the program if appropriate.
The board asked follow-up questions about rebates, past LED proposals and how such energy programs might interact with contractor proposals; Scott said he would follow up with his contacts and report back.
