Mr. Dodge reported the junior-high sports season is underway and said the wrestling program is seeing fast growth: “We have right now more girls than we do boys wrestling,” he said, adding that District 5 and other nearby programs are creating girls leagues and the board may consider the same.
He also noted 12 football players earned all-league recognition under the tier 2 system and named Coleman T. as co-defensive player of the year. Coaches and staff will continue to update schedules and invite board members to home matches and events.
