Anderson 1 elementary and middle grades place among state leaders in ELA and math

Brad Moore said Anderson 1 ranks inside the top four or five in ELA for grades 3–5 and again for grades 6–8, and that math performance is "very similar" with most grade levels from 3rd through 8th inside the top five statewide. "So we're in the top 5 in ELA, 3rd through 8th grade in Anderson 1," Moore said.
Seth Young noted the district had previously met a "20 30 state goal" in elementary reading and emphasized that teacher collaboration and parent partnership contributed to continued improvement. Officials framed these results as part of an overall upward trend rather than the conclusion of a single-year effort.
