Anderson School District 1 officials announce strong statewide test results

Seth Young, superintendent of Anderson School District 1, and Brad Moore, the district's chief academic officer, held an on-site announcement at Spearman Elementary to release the district's latest statewide test results and to spotlight Spearman's performance. "We have a lot to celebrate," Young said as he opened the event.
Moore said the district's high schools ranked inside the top four statewide across four end-of-course exams and highlighted strong performance across elementary and middle grades as well. Officials said additional data on graduation rates, Advanced Placement scores and school report cards will be released later in the fall.
