Program director says 21st Century after‑school grant met all compliance checks; summer camps set to run

Evan, program director for the 21st Century grant, told the board that the district’s after‑school program passed all 72 compliance areas during a February monitoring visit by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. “I’m proud to share with you all that we've passed all 72 compliance areas, for the grant,” Evan said.
Evan reviewed participation and summer plans: Snyder Gerardi served about 216 students daily during the school year and Bristol High programming reached about 357 students. He said the Snyder Gerardi summer stream camp (rising grades 1–6) is referral‑based with capacity listed at about 100–120 students and already had 104 registrations. The high‑school summer program is open enrollment for rising grades 7–12, with credit‑recovery and club opportunities. Evan described partners that support programming and meals, including Ivan’s House (Bucks County opioid settlement funds) and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, noting the district will operate as a free open meal site for youth under 18.
Board members praised the program’s outreach and asked about registration and funding timelines. The superintendent, Dr. Davis, and the board encouraged staff to document processes so the program can demonstrate results to state and federal reviewers if continued funding is needed.
