The Bristol Borough School District board voted June 11 to adopt the district's final budget for fiscal year 2025–26 in the amount of $27,287,520. "I motion to adopt the final budget for the 20 25 20 26 school fiscal year in the amount of $27,287,520," a board member said when moving the measure; the motion was seconded and carried in a roll-call vote.
Board member Chris, speaking during the discussion, said "there's no millage increase in this budget" and noted the district is monitoring potential state-level changes to cyber charter funding that officials estimate could reduce costs. The board recorded that roughly 60 students attend cyber programs outside the district and that the district currently pays about $13,000 per regular student to cyber providers; a reduction to about $8,000 per student was described as a possible state-level change that could reduce expenditures by about $5,000 per affected student.
The vote was taken by roll call; members recorded in favor included Mister DeAngelo, Mister Polyapika, Mister Perolo, Mister Smith, Mister Stiltner and Miss Paglione. The district will implement the adopted budget beginning with the 2025–26 fiscal year.
