Board adopts plan to improve math outcomes for Spanish-speaking high school students

"In your packet, you'll have a report that Mr. Mukasey and his staff had to fill out to, return to the PDE, just regarding the improvement in mathematics regarding our Spanish speaking students," Superintendent Dr. Davis said. The plan includes administrator-conducted teacher demonstration lessons and the district expects to bring finalists and an administrative recommendation to the board for approval.
A board member moved to approve the non-Title I school plan for the 2024–25 year; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. The board also noted its prior approval of PA REACH as part of efforts to support early intervention and instruction.
