Board accepts resignations, approves new hires, substitutes and MOA
Summary
Trustees accepted two resignations (Colin Davis effective Aug. 15; Jazmine Albin retroactive Aug. 30), approved a leave for Matthew Dorman (approx. Sept. 30–Nov. 4), appointed Brennan Finnegan (probationary Sept. 1, 2024–Sept. 1, 2028), approved substitutes, a bus driver, and an MOA with the Administrators' Association.
The board approved a package of personnel actions that included accepting the resignations of Colin Davis from his elementary teacher position effective Aug. 15, 2024 and Jazmine Albin’s resignation retroactive to Aug. 30, 2024. Trustees also approved a leave of absence for math teacher Matthew Dorman to begin approximately Sept. 30, 2024 with an anticipated return of Nov. 4, 2024.
The board appointed Brennan Finnegan to the elementary education tenure area, with a probationary appointment effective Sept. 1, 2024 through Sept. 1, 2028 (vice S. Bolster). The board also approved a memorandum of agreement with the Oxford Administrators' Association regarding leave/vacation days; substitute teacher appointments (Jason Burghardt, Amy Gross, Christina Harrison); substitute support staff and bus driver Janette Ireland; and amended the senior class advisor appointment to Renee Johnson and Lance Thorne at $1,017 each.
