The Oysterponds Union Free School District Board of Education voted to move into executive session at 6:04 p.m. on Dec. 17 to discuss contract negotiations with the Oysterponds Faculty Association (OFA). Philip Mastrangelo moved the motion, which Janice Caufield seconded; the minutes record the result as "6 Yes; 0 No; 0 Abstain."
Thomas Stevenson, the board's chair, had called the special meeting to order at 6:03 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance before the board moved into executive session. The minutes show the board reconvened at 7:09 p.m. and immediately adjourned. The minutes are signed by Linda O'Leary, District Clerk.
