The Oxford Academy & Central School District Board of Education adopted a proposed $24,032,771 budget for the 2025–26 school year at its April 16 meeting.
School Business Manager Erin Gramstad reviewed the proposal and told the board that "the proposed Budget $24,032,771 budget is a 4.8% tax levy increase, which will be presented to the taxpayers on May 20, 2025." The board approved resolutions including the budget in a grouped set of motions that were recorded by the clerk.
Board members voted on grouped budget and governance resolutions; motions to approve G1–G4 and then later bundled financial resolutions passed on roll calls recorded in the minutes. The adoption at the board level is the district's formal submission of a proposed budget; the final public vote on the district budget is scheduled for the May 20, 2025 budget vote and annual meeting.
The meeting minutes show the board's action recorded as carried unanimously in the motions where the grouped resolutions were approved. The board also approved the Property Tax Report Card and set the 2025–26 Board of Education meeting calendar at the same session.
