Superintendent Nicholas A. Colosi briefed the board on the district's capital project timeline and scope, telling trustees Phase I is currently in review and bidding will begin after approval. Colosi said Phase II was submitted on Feb. 17 and the district is exploring a Phase III focused on safety and infrastructure items such as key fobs and updated phones.
Colosi warned the PS/HS campus will be off limits this summer because of extensive work and said the district is trying to consolidate services into a single contract. He also raised a procurement caution, noting a judgment in a piggybacking cooperative-purchasing case at Maine‑Endwell and saying the district's attorneys have reviewed current processes.
