Superintendent Nicholas A. Colosi told the board that phase I of the district's capital project — primarily exterior work — will go out for bidding in March 2025 with construction scheduled to begin in spring 2025.
He said phase II is expected to include two new boilers for the middle and high schools, new windows in the middle school, full LED lighting upgrades and a STEAM space in the high school. Colosi said Fiscal Advisors and the district's architects will continue to work on funding options and that TIES will host a virtual tour of a STEAM space to inform design discussions.
Colosi also confirmed the district's fiscal advisers will help finalize funding arrangements as design specifics are finalized; discussion and design decisions will continue with staff and board input.
