Price County Administration Committee notes multiple staff changes, corporation counsel to resign

The Price County Administration Committee on June 9 logged multiple personnel changes and open recruitments for county departments.

Committee records show two correction officers are scheduled to begin employment the week of the meeting. Michael Ball began work as Highway Fleet & Facilities Superintendent on June 7, 2026. County staff listed current recruitments for an administrative assistant for child support, a highway mechanic, two behavioral health social workers, a part-time deputy sheriff, a part-time correction officer/dispatcher and substitute nutrition site managers.

County Corporation Counsel Megan Norris has submitted notice; her resignation date is July 31, 2026. Committee materials say Bryce Schoenborn and Courtney Graf will provide interim coverage and that the recruitment for a permanent corporation counsel will begin as soon as possible and is estimated to take up to one year. No vote or formal timeline for hiring was set by the committee at the meeting.

These staffing changes were recorded as part of the committee’s routine employee-status updates, presented by county staff. The committee did not take separate formal action beyond recording the vacancies and interim coverage plans.
