The Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education on May 20 voted unanimously to confer tenure on a slate of 25 instructional and instructional-support staff after the superintendent’s recommendation. Trustee Jillian Manupella moved the tenure resolution and the board approved it 7-0. "RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of Education hereby confers tenure upon the following instructional staff members," reads the motion recorded in the minutes.
The tenure list includes teachers and specialists across district schools, among them Chelsey Horner (Music, Turnpike Elementary School), Gregory Pasos (Special Education, Lansingburgh High School) and Cortlandt Tisch (Mathematics, Knickerbacker Middle School). The meeting also cleared several resignations and retirement notices effective July 1, 2025, and approved a range of appointments, long-term substitutes and summer assignments. All personnel actions on the consent agendas carried by unanimous votes. The board record shows motions and roll-call tallies for each consent item.
