Board adopts K–12 social studies curriculum package for 2026–27

The Umatilla School District board voted unanimously to adopt a districtwide social studies curriculum package for the coming years. Board Member Travis Eynon moved to adopt the curriculum as presented; Board Member Jorge Meza seconded the motion. The motion passed on a 6–0 recorded vote. Board discussion did not record amendments to the recommended materials, and the board did not note any objections during the meeting.
