Umatilla School District board adopts 2026–27 budget after public hearing

The Umatilla School District Board of Directors closed its public Budget Hearing at about 7:31 p.m. and unanimously adopted the 2026–27 Budget Resolution and Budget Summary.
Board Member Travis Eynon moved to adopt the budget resolution, and Board Member Bob Lorence seconded the motion. The motion passed on a recorded vote of six yeas, zero nays. The hearing had been opened at the start of the meeting by Board Vice Chair Member Toby Cranston, who read the public input disclaimer earlier in the evening.
The board took no amendments to the budget during the hearing and proceeded from the hearing into other agenda business, including curriculum and program approvals. The district indicated no additional public testimony on the budget at the meeting.
