Student activities update: trivia, College Possible visits, FAA testing and concerts announced

A district staff member identified as Veil gave a rundown of recent student activities and events. Topics included a February trivia event on tobacco awareness run in partnership with Umatilla County Public Health, College Possible visits that helped mostly sophomores complete college applications, ELD activity on March 6, and the start of spring team sports including track, baseball, softball, tennis and golf.
Veil also said three students—"Caleb Nelson, Preston Mueller, and Joshua"—took the FAA drone test. The band concert is scheduled March 19 at 7:00 p.m., and students will attend the FFA State Convention March 20. Superintendent Mr. Duff added the district's enrollment for the month was 1,540 compared with 1,538 the previous month.
