Silver Petrucelli to continue schematic designs and cost estimates for Russell Library

Ramona told the committee she and others recently spoke with Chris Nardi of Silver Petrucelli and that the firm will continue to work on updated schematic designs, interior renderings and cost estimation for the Russell Library project. She said the work is based on multiple rounds of community engagement and that Silver Petrucelli should have materials the committee can review by next month.

Ramona emphasized that continuing schematic work does not make Silver Petrucelli the architect of record for construction; a later competitive process would select an architect for any eventual construction contract. Committee members asked that any materials produced by the firm be circulated in advance of the next meeting so members can review them ahead of a March meeting.
