Board approves summer credit recovery, counseling and therapy agreements for 2026–27

The board approved several education and student-service items on May 11. The Education Committee recommended continuation pay for elementary and secondary guidance counselors (not to exceed 10 per-diem days beyond the 2026–27 school year) and approved operation of Credit Recovery Summer School at Central Cambria High School from June 1–19, 2026 using an online platform with in-person supervision.
The board also approved agreements for student services: Impact Counseling Services LLC to provide drug and alcohol services including case management for the 2026–27 school year; Conductive Education Center of Orlando (CECO) to serve student #250016 at a cost not to exceed $3,650; and Camco Physical and Occupational Therapy, LLC for school-based physical, speech and occupational therapy for Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2028.
