Middle-school FFA and Cavalcade bands honored in meeting; students present activities

Middle-school FFA officers visited the board to summarize the year's activities and invite board members to the end-of-year celebration. Madison Jones introduced the chapter's work and officers' roles and said the chapter had attended multiple industry trips and competitions. "We are excited to be here to represent the Big Spring Middle FFA," she said, and officers invited the board to an end-of-year celebration on June 1.
Later in the meeting, Cavalcade of Bands leadership presented an award recognizing Adam Noble of Big Spring High School as the 2025-26 Cavalcade Director of the Year. Matt Sonali and Scott Muns praised Noble's mentorship and program-building. Noble acknowledged the honor and reflected on his tenure: "This has been an awesome time, and I look forward to continuing to do this." The board congratulated the students and the band director and recognized community support for music and agricultural programs.
