Administrators report on Child Find, Diversion Program role and plans to sell Intermediate School

Administrators submitted written reports to the board and several gave verbal highlights. Greg Grant, Director of Special Services, summarized Child Find and current counts and discussed ideas to serve a growing population of young students with special needs. Ida Gorman reported she met with Judge Wilgus and represented Claymont as a forerunner in a Diversion Program; she also spoke to legislators about vaping prevention.
Amy Myers of Barnett Realtors told the board she is grateful to participate in the Girls with Pearls program at the Intermediate School and described plans for Barnett Realtors to market the Intermediate School together with Cronebaugh Auctions. Board members were invited to ask questions; Hall of Fame preview tickets for Tuesday, August 4 were announced as available at the Dover Public Library.
