At its June 8 meeting the Claymont City School District Board approved the Treasurer's recommendations, including acceptance of a $3,993 donation from the New Philadelphia VFW earmarked for the Claymont High School digital board.
The board also approved renewal of pollution insurance ($485) and cyber insurance ($7,302) for the July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 policy period through Hylant/Ohio School Plan, a five‑year depository agreement with The First National Bank of Dennison, and the monthly health insurance rates set by the Stark County Council of Government for fiscal year 2027 (single and family medical rates and dental/vision figures were included in the board packet). The motion to approve items A–H passed on a roll call vote with all members present voting yes.
