The board also approved one‑year limited teaching contracts for Steven Smith (elementary music, BA Step 0) and Breanna Ehret (high school art, BA Step 0), both pending proper employment credentials. The board approved Joe Lunsford as a high school credit recovery summer tutor for eight days (June 1–11) and named summer custodial staff including Markie Tarleton (Class I A step 0, effective June 1, 2026).
In other personnel business the board approved the list of Claymont High graduates for the Class of 2026 and authorized classified substitutes for the 2025–26 and 2026–27 school years pending credentialing. The motion to approve items A–O carried on a roll call vote with all members present voting yes (Mrs. Grandison, Mrs. Wolf, Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Host).
