Superintendent Dr. Melissa Stewart presented the personnel agenda covering the reemployment of a retiring bus driver (Debbie Friend), renewal of limited employee contracts for 2026–27, certified and classified contract approvals and position-change requests.
Dr. Stewart highlighted several hires and transitions: Mindy Sabo will join as the innovation coach at the primary school; Caleb Hilton will replace the outgoing high-school choral teacher; and Heather Robbins was introduced as the new high-school assistant principal and was present in the audience. "Heather is here with us in the audience," Stewart said while describing Robbins' background in a larger neighboring district.
Board members moved to approve the superintendent’s report A and items B1 through B18, and the roll-call approvals were recorded in the transcript. The personnel slate also included approvals of administrative salaries, supplementary service contracts, resignations and tuition reimbursements for the next school year. The administration said hiring and contract processes were competitive and included demonstration lessons and interviews for certain positions.
