The board said the tentative budget was revised by the Executive County Superintendent before final adoption and the motion passed on roll call with one member absent.
The budget package increases reserves and shows a 1.93% rise in the total tax levy from the prior tentative figures. Revenues listed include local taxes ($45,504,111 as general fund tax levy) and notable allocations for staff salaries and benefits: total employee salaries $28,919,713 and benefits $11,374,427. President Meredith Murphy thanked district staff for producing the budget packet: "President Murphy thanked the school administration for its efforts in the putting the budget together."
