Summary
Aramark food-service director Adam Loop told the Indian Hill board the company will expand high-school service next year with an All Day Cafe (07:30–14:30), install card readers, and mentor a student-run smoothie business, IH Blends, that will operate mornings and at lunch.

Adam Loop, food service director for Aramark, told the Indian Hill Exempted Village School District board that Aramark’s menus meet USDA guidelines and that the company will expand operations next year to give students more access to meals.
"Next year, we are introducing the all day cafe," Loop said, describing hours of about 07:30 to 14:30 and plans to offer snacks such as yogurt, parfaits and fruit alongside lunch. He said the high school will also get credit-card and debit-card readers so students can make purchases immediately rather than waiting 24–48 hours for online account changes to post. "This will allow students to immediately purchase food regardless of that wait time," he said.
Loop also described a student-run enterprise called IH Blends — a smoothie bar that he said will operate from about 07:30 to 08:00 and during the lunch period. Aramark’s role, he said, is mentorship and administrative support, with limited startup funding and guidance on operations. "IH Blends is gonna be a fully self sustaining small business within Indian High School," Loop said.
Board members asked about the district’s participation in the National School Lunch Program and whether ending that participation might give Aramark more flexibility. A board member recommended moving the question to the operations committee and noted an RFP for the elementary program could be required around March of the next school year; no decision was made.
The presentation emphasized Aramark’s student-survey process for menu development, partnerships with on-campus clubs (including use of hydroponics-grown lettuce), and plans to post elementary and primary menus for the full year before school starts to help families plan.
