Board hears phased timeline for capital project and plans for user‑group meetings

Dr. Lutinski updated the board that the district reorganized its capital work into three construction phases tied to when different projects will be built. "So, for example, 2027, one year from right now, next summer, that'll be phase 1, and those are those expedited items that we've been talking about, and those are already approved by the state as of the end of July," he said.
He said CPL, the district architect, will schedule user‑group dates in early September so teachers, facilities staff and community members can meet with designers to refine how spaces will be used. Athletic field work is slated for spring 2028 and playground and STEAM work for the summer/fall of 2028, the superintendent said.
