Pleasantville UFSD staff lay out three-phase capital project; expedited items approved for 2027

A Staff member described changes to the Pleasantville Forward capital project timing and phasing, saying the plan now separates work into three phases that align with construction schedules. "So for example, 2027, 1 year from right now, next summer, that'll be phase 1, and those are those expedited items that we've been talking about, and those are already approved by the state as of the end of July," the Staff member said.
He outlined Phase 2 as athletic field work in spring 2028 and Phase 3 as remaining items including the BRS playground and STEAM work in summer 2028. The Staff member said the district has held two OACM (owner, architect and construction manager) meetings and is focused on scheduling to ensure all parties understand when work will occur.
