Parent raises concern that child is not graduating; board cites confidentiality and moves discussion to executive session

Ms. Danielle Lunger addressed the board at the start of public comment to raise a concern about her child not graduating. Board President Cathi Root thanked Ms. Lunger for coming and speaking to the board and reiterated the board’s confidentiality obligations.
"The Board cannot discuss individual students in public session due to confidentiality and that any necessary discussion will be done in executive session," President Cathi Root said. The board subsequently entered executive session later in the meeting; minutes note Ms. Lunger and another attendee left after the motion to enter executive session and before the session began.
