Board accepts several resignations and approves multiple staff appointments

The board accepted, upon the superintendent's recommendation, several personnel changes and appointments. Resignations accepted included teacher Jessica Johnson (effective 07/14/2026), with the record later corrected in public discussion to say Johnson is resigning to accept an assistant-principal post in a neighboring district; the board also accepted resignations from teacher aide Catherine Sliz (effective 06/30/2026), bus attendant Rebecca Carus (effective 06/22/2026) and bus driver Kim Mazurkiewicz (effective 06/26/2026).
The board approved a set of summer positions and early-morning supervision personnel for 2026–27, and appointed laborer John Sullivan to serve out-of-title as custodian at $25.42 per hour until Kristen Marano returns. The board also approved a slate of 19-a trainers for the 2026–27 school year (Gordon Rogers, Elizabeth Rogers, James Sullivan and Cody Shamrock). Members thanked departing staff for their service.
