Community library asks voters to approve $1.69 million levy appropriation

Collins said the request represents an additional approximately $35,000 within the library's tax cap calculation and that library staff are working to manage rising employee benefit costs.
Collins introduced Maria, the library's new staff member at Windsor Lane, and said the library will continue outreach and programming if the appropriation is approved by district voters on May 19. The board offered the opportunity for public questions and noted standard voter notification procedures will continue before the election.
