Board approves consent agenda, personnel retirements and appointments

Clerk read superintendent recommendations: retirements effective 07/01/2026 were accepted for elementary teacher Linda Swans (28 years), elementary teacher Erin McNeil (34 years), English teacher Monica Donovan (30 years), and special education teacher Kimberly Mangino (26 years). The clerk announced acceptance of a resignation for teacher aide Mindy Winship (effective 01/16/2026) and a resignation of registered nurse Jenny Clark (effective 01/23/2026). Each recommendation was seconded and carried after a voice vote.
The board approved appointments: Patrick Sullivan and Russell McNamara were permanently appointed as cleaners effective 02/11/2026 after completing probationary periods. The board also approved an overnight wrestling trip for Jan. 30–31, 2026 to participate in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Division II dual meet. The clerk noted the board and administration thanked retiring staff for their years of service.
