Laurens Central board elects Struckle president, Francisco named vice president at reorganization meeting

The Laurens Central School District Board of Education convened its reorganizational meeting on July 7, 2026, in FACS Room 115. Superintendent William Dorritie called the meeting to order at 7:11 p.m., and the board immediately voted to adopt the meeting agenda. "The meeting was called to order at 7:11 pm by Superintendent W. Dorritie."
Trustee C. Struckle was elected board president after a nomination by Trustee T. Francisco and a second by Trustee M. Wikoff; the motion carried 4-0-0 and Struckle then took the oath of office administered by Superintendent Dorritie. The board likewise confirmed T. Francisco as vice president following a nomination from P. Bush-Allen and a second from M. Wikoff, with the vote recorded 4-0-0. Following officer elections, Board President Struckle administered the Oath of Office to Superintendent Dorritie.
