Finance staff said May collections included $5,020,000 to the general fund and additional delinquent-collection receipts; after reconciliation the district expects a net positive change in fund balance though less than earlier projections. The presenter said state revenue is on target and that a projected fund-balance supplement will be adjusted based on reconciliations and local tax growth. In student services, staff reported more than 51,587 school nurse clinic visits, 5,872 diabetic monitorings, 861 tube feedings, 348 catheterizations, and 82 students who received glasses through screenings. Mental-health reporting included over 600 students self-reporting disorders and 450 referrals to outside agencies; MTSS meetings topped 1,500 for the year. Presenters said telehealth services will expand to Draytonville next year and that the district employs floating and substitute nurses to cover high-need schools.
Trustees asked for the numeric reports and the presenter agreed to email consolidated figures to the board. The reports were informational; several routine motions and approvals followed later in the meeting.
