Elementary principal thanks first responders after Snyder Gerati evacuation; federal grants update

"I would like to take a moment just to recognize and thank everyone who helped during yesterday's building evacuation here at Snyder Gerati," principal Dr. Julie Bowser told the board, thanking first responders, school staff and parents for their quick response and cooperation.
Bowser also delivered the district's federal programs update, saying the performance goal reporting for the 2024–25 school year was submitted on Jan. 9 and that a Title I grant was approved that week. She said Title I teachers will begin fast bridge assessments for kindergarten and first grade in the coming weeks and Title IV funds continue to support STEM gifted and enrichment programs.
