The Granton Area School District board voted to enter executive session at 7:48 p.m. on June 4, 2026, under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to discuss matters related to employment, promotion, compensation or performance of public employees. The motion to convene in executive session was made by Douglas Eichten and seconded by Daniel Schoessow; a roll-call vote recorded Yea from Eichten, Elmhorst, Hasz and Schoessow and Erica Bender was listed as absent.
The board returned to open session at 8:36 p.m. after the executive session. Clerk Jamie Elmhorst reported to the board that no action was taken while in executive session. Because the minutes state only that personnel discussion occurred in executive session and that no action was taken, no additional personnel details were recorded in the public minutes.
