Board keeps meal charges, approves bus for memorial and OKs open enrollment
Summary

District staff presented participation and revenue comparisons showing what meal reimbursements and revenue might look like under the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). After discussion, the board decided to remain in the current meal program and continue charging for breakfast and lunch rather than resume CEP; no motion was required.
The board also approved a request to use a district bus on July 18, 2026, for a Celebration of Life for Mark Schroeder (motion by Daniel Schoessow; second Erica Bender), and approved the 2026–27 open enrollment applications. These operational approvals were handled on voice vote and will be processed by district transportation and enrollment staff.
