Business manager reports grant reimbursements and NSLP application awaiting state adult-lunch rate

Lou Ann (S5), reporting for district finance, said staff are finishing FY26 grant reimbursements for consolidated IDEA and federal REAP money and are preparing FY27 grant applications with an expected completion by the end of June.
"I'm finishing up, grant reimbursements for FY 26, on the consolidated, the IDEA money and also, the federal REAP," Lou Ann said. She added the district submitted the National School Lunch Program application and was waiting on the state to set adult-lunch charges, likely in early August. Lou Ann said the REAP and IDEA funds cover eligible program costs and are not charged to the general fund.
Board members asked a few clarifying questions about timelines; staff said they will return with completed grant applications and will publish any required adult-lunch pricing once the state issues guidance.
