Pond Creek-Hunter board approves two bond funds, 2026-27 calendar and multiple student policies

The Pond Creek-Hunter Public Schools Board of Education on March 2 approved the creation of two bond funds, adopted the district calendar for 2026–27 and approved a set of student policies, recording unanimous votes on each motion.
Board records show a motion to create Building Bond Fund 31 and Transportation Bond Fund 32 was made by James Streck and seconded by Jason Williams and carried with Micah Barr, Justin Bentley, R.D. Schuermann, James Streck and Jason Williams all voting "Yea." The board also approved the 2026–27 school calendar (motion by James Streck, seconded by Justin Bentley) and approved policies covering Student Records/FERPA, Child Find, disciplinary removal of students with disabilities, Extended School Year services and Student Transfers (motions largely moved by Justin Bentley and seconded by Jason Williams).
