Representatives from Elgin High School’s student organizations presented plans for the 2026–27 school year during the board’s public session. Abigale Roulet, speaking for ASB, described priorities for improved communication, stronger information for the community, increased school pride and student engagement.
National Honor Society officers Addison Evans and Landyn Fincher outlined goals to strengthen districtwide connections, host additional assemblies that include elementary students, hold summer events, and raise funds to support extracurricular activities. The report included a note that the band recently competed at state, representing the school in competition.
