Industry fair, Missoula Children's Theater and music, sports updates highlight student activities

Several board members and administrators highlighted recent and upcoming student activities. Mr. Sayers (elementary/junior-high report) described a highly attended industry fair with about 30 vendors and praised Miss McKenna for organizing it. He noted high participation in Missoula Children's Theater—about 86 students tried out and roughly 60 participated—and that students and staff enjoyed performances and subsequent state send-offs.
Mr. Fletcher (high school report) noted FFA students will travel to Pullman for state events May 13–16, that the jazz band will attend the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival at the University of Idaho on April 24, and that the district will offer two new business classes next year (business ethics and business marketing) with college-credit articulation under development. Mr. Dodge gave athletics numbers: junior-high track at 31 participants and baseball/softball combined around 20–21 students.
