District staff summarized requirements for the Nassau BOCES board election and presented four candidates for three available seats. The board discussed which names to place on the April 20 agenda so the district can submit its votes to BOCES.
Miss Raynor said two incumbent seats are held by Deborah Coats and Lawrence Greenstein and that a third seat is vacant; each elected member serves a three-year term beginning July 1. Board members then indicated the names they would recommend to appear on the next meeting agenda for formal recommendation to the BOCES election process.
The board agreed to include candidate names on the upcoming meeting agenda and to finalize a consensus for the district’s submission.
