Board recognizes multiple teachers and staff recommended for tenure

Shannon McEntee recommended Ariana Esposito for her classroom, coaching and advisory work; presenters recommended Kayla Pollens for counseling leadership and expansion of a mentoring program; Melissa Orgeman recommended Anna Thomas for instructional rigor and consistent Regents results; and Deborah Small recommended Megan Wagenauer Zafini for K— literacy work. At least two special-education staff were also recommended, with presenters citing evidence-based practices and family communication. The board then approved instructional personnel as a single motion.
