Board re-adopts key policies, holds readings and approves 2026–2027 School Safety Plan

The Oysterponds board re-adopted several policies for the 2026–2027 school year, including family and parent engagement, code of conduct, purchasing and investments policies. The re-adoptions were recorded on the consent vote and carry forward established district rules for the upcoming year.
The board also held a second reading of Policy #5100 (Attendance) and Policy #5405 (Student Wellness) and a first reading of Draft Policy #8334 (Use of Credit Cards). Additionally, trustees approved the 2026–2027 School Safety Plan and Emergency Response Plan on a unanimous vote, formally authorizing the district's emergency-preparedness documents for the coming year.
