Ed Holmquist described two female‑leadership conferences that emphasized mental health and skills for athletes; presenters included representatives from hospitals, therapy organizations and the police department. Holmquist explained the newly formed Student Athletic Council (SAC) includes a representative from each sport, will inventory equipment and assist community events such as the Oxford Rotary’s Easter egg hunt, and plans to create a logo and provide gear for council members.
Superintendent Colosi described a Safety Patrol trip to Washington, D.C., scheduled for June 19–21, 2026. Colosi said approximately 35 students and five chaperones will attend and that the district will use Hale Transportation; travel-club and safety-patrol fundraising will support the trip. The board expressed consensus support for the excursion.
