Board grants tenure to multiple teachers, approves broad personnel slate

The Lansingburgh Central School District Board of Education on May 19 voted to confer tenure on a set of instructional staff and to approve a large consent personnel slate. "RESOLVED, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, the Board of Education hereby confers tenure upon the following instructional staff members," read the motion moved by Michael Drinkwine and carried unanimously (RESO #2-05/19/2026).
The tenure list included teachers across elementary, ELA, special education and other areas with most effective dates of 09/01/2026; one appointment listed an earlier effective date of 03/29/2026. The Board also accepted multiple resignations and approved appointments spanning probationary teaching positions, teaching assistants and substitute assignments. The personnel consent motions were presented by Ms. Daniella Richards and approved on the consent agenda (RESO #6 and #7-05/19/2026).
